Senior Physiotherapist
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Senior Physiotherapist to work in an exceptional care home based in the Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers
This care home provides accommodation and treatment for people with complex long term neurological conditions, brain or spinal injuries
**Must have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and registered with the HCPC**
As the Senior Physiotherapist you key duties include:
• You will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical care in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills
• You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of therapy and always meeting the needs of our residents
• You will assess and analyse individuals and determine their need for occupational therapy intervention to maximise functional independence and rehabilitation potential
• Ideally you will have experience in Discharge Planning and the ability to incorporate treatments that require knowledge of Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy core skills (interdisciplinary approach)
• You’ll get to enjoy working in a close multi-disciplinary team where there is real respect and a drive for high quality, evidence based safe patient care in an innovative modern working environment
• You will benefit from a varied surgical caseload which will broaden your skills and experience as well as support and training opportunities
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Member of College of Occupational Therapists
• Wheelchair experience
• Able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of assessing and treating people with a complex condition
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), with residents, visitors, Occupational therapists and the wider multi-disciplinary team
The successful Senior Physiotherapist will receive an excellent salary up to £38,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
