Primary Care Quality Assurance Lead
An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Primary Care Quality Assurance Lead to oversight on clinical and operational quality and effectiveness across all Primary Care and Urgent Care Services in the South East/Midlands regions. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers
This is a high profile post responsible for the support and oversight of Service Leads to ensure delivery of safe and effective care by overseeing the management of quality across a portfolio of primary care services
**To be considered for this position you must be hold a clinical qualification and have Minimum of 5 years post registration experience working in a Health and social care environment, preferably in Primary Care**
As the Assurance Lead your key responsibilities include:
• Clinical performance is monitored to support the achievement of contractual and business performance measures
• Opportunities to share learning across the services in the BU are maximised
• Clinical performance management of subcontractors is monitored to identify failure to comply with contractual agreements/under performance
• The Senior Leadership Team have access to sufficient and appropriate information, including assurances regarding the clinical quality and safety of services
• Supporting and developing Service teams to understand areas of focus and ongoing improvement of Quality across all services
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Competent in Incident investigation including root cause analysis
• A comprehensive understanding of Complaints management including investigation, trend analysis and responses
• Experience of Service Delivery and improvement
• Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in healthcare of clinical effectiveness
• Commitment to keep up to date with developments in own specialist area and to ensure that work reflects current knowledge
The successful Assurance Lead will receive an excellent salary of £55,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
