Junior Sister

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Junior Sister to work in an exceptional care home based in the Barrhead, Glasgow. As the Junior Sister you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This care home is made up of two houses. The team professionals offer care and support for the elderly in dementia care. It's vitally important for the residents to feel at home, they have created a warm, friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence. The home encourages residents to lead as full and active a life as possible

As a Junior Sister your day to day duties include:
• Be responsible for leading a team of Nursing and Care staff to ensure excellent standards of care
• Plan rotas/recruit/train and mentor staff
• Build strong relationships with local regulator/providers and Social Services
• Comply to NMC guidelines with administration of medicine

An ideal Junior Sister must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:
• You must have previous experience in a nursing management role
• You must have a proven track record in delivering good care results
• You must have a good understanding of CQC/CI and other regulatory bodies (DoLs/MCA)
• Able to show a can-do attitude always

The successful Junior Sister will receive an excellent salary of £16.65 per hour + Paid Breaks. This exciting position has Night Shifts only available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
