Deputy Ward Manager
A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Ward Manager to work in an exceptional hospital based in the High Wycombe area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital offers a warm and nurturing environment where people receive intensive treatment for eating disorders including severe and enduring anorexia nervosa. There are also a number of places for patients with complex needs
**You must be qualified as a Nurse either RMN or RNLD with a valid NMC Pin**
As the Deputy Ward Manager your key responsibilities include:
• Supervision and management of care staff
• Planning, assessing, delivering and evaluating individual care
• Planning staff rotas
• Establish and maintain outstanding communication with clients, relatives and colleagues
• Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager
• Undertake on call within a rota
• Demonstrate consistent leadership and role modelling
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Experience in Mental Health or Learning Disability services
• At least 3 years, or equivalent experience post-registration
• Trained Mentor
• Clinical Supervision experience essential, training desirable
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop Continued
• professional development and leadership
• Good computer skills
The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £44,648 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
