Senior Social Worker
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Social Worker to work in an exceptional service based in the Roehampton, London area. As the Senior Social Worker you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This is one of the countrys leading mental health treatment centres. They provide fast access to high quality treatment for lots of different conditions, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and eating disorders
As the Senior Social Worker your key responsibilities include:
To manage safeguarding concerns within the hospital
To attend various meetings within the hospital to offer input from a safeguarding perspective
To offer safeguarding advice and support to staff within the hospital
To complete direct work with both adult and child patients when safeguarding concerns have been raised
To complete Social Circumstances reports when required
To liaise directly with external agencies such as the police, local authorities and community mental health teams when safeguarding referrals are needed
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Good knowledge of safeguarding for both adults & children
Good interpersonal skills
Able to work with an empathetic approach whilst maintaining professional boundaries
Experience working as a practitioner within a relevant setting where the role holder has gained first-hand experience working in safeguarding, implementing the processes and procedures required under current legislation
