Night Nurse Manager
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Night Nurse Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home service based in the Southport, Merseyside area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This special care home has qualified and experienced care staff that are on hand 24 hours a day to provide a high standard of care and they are a highly trained and dedicated team who specialise in care of older people
As the Nurse Night Manager your key responsibilities include:
Lead and inspire the team to deliver special experiences to residents, which promote choice and independence to make a positive difference to their lives
Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience, ensuring that all company policies, regulations, Codes of Conduct and care plans are adhered to
Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards care, staff welfare and training and develop an excellent reputation
Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives and visitors to enhance the residents quality of life
Deputise in the overall management of the care home including production of reports, budgets & Quality of Life monitoring
Take responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents and visitor to the Home and alerting the officers responsible to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety
Ensure you are the team attend training days and courses to ensure learning records are maintained and individuals are developed
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
You will have a clear understanding of leadership responsibilities in elderly/social care with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide hands on approach to nursing/care
Experience of working in a similar environment, you will be able to demonstrate a track record in leading, motivating, managing and developing staff
Proven management experience within the sector
The successful Nurse Night Manager will receive an excellent salary of £18.00 per hour and the annual salary is £44,928 per annum. This exciting role is a Full Time role for 44 hours a week working through Night Shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
