Pharmacy Technician
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Pharmacy Technician to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Peterborough, Cambridgeshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

As the Pharmacy Technician your key responsibilities include:
• Providing medicines optimisation services in a patient facing clinical environment
• Medicines reconciliation
• Managing medication requirements: assessment of PODs, ordering supplies and missed dose prevention
• Checking the accuracy of rewritten medication charts
• Discharge planning
• Counselling on medication such as anticoagulants
• Communication with community pharmacies to maintain compliance device services
• Regular sessions in the dispensary performing a range of duties
• Providing support to the Mass Vaccination Programme
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Strong communications skills both verbal & written
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the service
• Competent in utilising IT packages
• Previous experience in primary care, community pharmacy or hospital background
The successful Pharmacy Technician will receive an excellent salary up to £30,615 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week working through Day Shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
