Children’s Home Registered Manager

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Children’s Home Registered Manager to work in an exceptional children's home based in the Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This home provides care and support to children from the age of 8 up to 18 years

As the Registered Manager your key responsibilities include:
• Ensure young people receive excellent levels of emotional and physical care, within a home that offers a safe, nurturing and comfortable environment with a staff team that is supportive, and enabling, providing opportunities and experiences to instil positive values and reaffirm the importance of children enjoying a childhood
• To lead and manage both employees and resources to ensure high standards of service are achieved within the home, exceeding regulatory standards
• To manage the budget of the home and ensure the business remains viable and to meet and exceed the key performance indicators for people, quality and performance

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Experience in residential child care of 5 years or more in a leadership role, Deputy or Registered Manager
• A good employment history showing stability
• Good knowledge of the regulations and inspections
• Driver would be great
• Good track record of good or above in Ofsted inspections

The successful Registered Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £52,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
