Lead Scrub Nurse
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for Lead Scrub Nurse to work in an exceptional private hospital based in the Chelmsford, Essex area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital provides a wide range of services including Surgery, Medicine, Oncology, Plastic and Cosmetic surgery, and Paediatrics. They are continually introducing new technology to ensure they provide the best experience for patients and support for their hard working teams and have just opened 2 additional purpose built theatres
**NMC/HCPC registration - registration should not have any restrictions or conditions**
As the Lead Scrub Nurse your key duties include:
• To lead and support in the management & organisation of care provision within the operating department
• You will be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care & services within an agreed department in our growing theatre team
• It would be advantageous if you have experience in Ophthalmic or ENT surgery
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• A minimum of 2 years, post registration experience as a Scrub Practitioner
• Experience in leading a team is desirable
• ALS/EPALS certificate - desirable
• Surgical First Assist Qualification - desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
