Health Visitor

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Health Visitor to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Bath, Somerset area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers

This is an excellent hospital with inpatient mental health services, and dietetic services for those who are in need

**You must be qualified as a SCPHN Health Visitor and be registered with the NMC**

As the Health Visitor your key responsibilities include:
• Fully implement the Healthy Child Programme
• Use the Family Health Needs Assessment tool to plan and evidence care
• Devise and implement individualized care plans for each child based on a needs assessment, within the Health Visiting Strategy, while actively involving the child/parent/carer/family in the planning and implementation of any proposed programme of care and support
• Identify and assess health, growth and development in the 0-5 age range (0-19 Pathway)
• Be responsible for delegation of workload as appropriate and take day-to-day supervisory responsibility for early years Community Practitioners
• Use evidence based practice to develop and maintain a high quality and cost effective standard for Specialist Public Health Nurse/Health Visiting practice

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Be a role model for the service and your colleagues
• Motivation, adaptability and innovation
• Be an effective communicator, using a variety of skills demonstrate care and compassion in every aspect of your role
• Be a team player
• Ability to take full responsibility for caseload management and workload
• Able to work flexibly and respond to changing demands in workload

The successful Health Visitor will receive an excellent salary up to £39,027 per annum. We currently have Full Time and Part Time roles available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
