Bladder and Bowel Specialist Nurse
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Bladder & Bowel Specialist Nurse to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Bath, Somerset area. You will be working for one of UKs leading healthcare providers
This is an excellent hospital with inpatient mental health services, and dietetic services for those who are in need
**You must be an Registered Nurse Part 1, a Non Medical prescriber or willing to undertake a prescribing course and have a leadership and management qualification or relevant experience**
As a Nurse your key duties include:
To provide day to day management and co-ordination of resources making sure that the service is responsive to the needs of the service users and to changing requirements of the local community
Works with other service managers to formulate, implement, monitor and review service objectives, systems and processes to ensure safe and effective service delivery
Ensure local and national standards and performance targets are met
Identify and implement to address gaps in the service
Provide professional leadership, clinical support and supervision to staff
To motivate staff and develop effective working relationships within the organisation
Develop close working relationships with colleagues in primary and secondary care and with other community services to ensure service users have appropriate and timely inventions and support
To provide specialist clinical assessment, treatment and advice
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Have expert clinical knowledge of working with people with bladder and bowel symptoms and demonstrate an understanding of the long term impact on individuals
Experience of management and leadership of staff to provide innovative practice to meet objectives and change
Experience of using IT in a clinical and analysis way
Evidence of undertaking service review and design with the ability to resolve complex service problems using sound logic and consideration to relevant business implications and stakeholders views
