Senior Radiographer

A brilliant new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Radiographer to work in an amazing private hospital based in the Hertfordshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This hospital is one of the leading private hospitals and is equipped with the latest medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment, and has very high quality clinical standards including effective infection prevention measures

**To be considered for this position you must hold a DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and be HCPC registered as a member of the Society of Radiographers**

As the Senior Radiographer your key responsibilities include:
• To actively participate in the efficient and safe operation of the Imaging Department, providing a consistent, high quality service to all patients and visitors
• To carry out general and specialised radiographic procedures within their scope of competence as agreed with the Clinical Services Manager - Imaging/Clinical Lead to high technical and quality standards, assessing patients & interpreting clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic techniques
• Undertake imaging examinations in line with department operational procedures and policies, using techniques that produce the lowest radiation dose to the patient and staff whilst producing high quality, diagnostic images
• Practise good radiation, protection and safety and observe Local Rules and Systems of Work

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Experience in general Radiography
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Passion to deliver high quality diagnostic services
• Committed and flexible as shift work will be required
• Friendly outgoing personality
• Competent computer skills

The successful Senior Radiographer will receive an excellent salary up to £42,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
