Nurse Night Co-ordinator
An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Night Co-ordinator to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Attleborough, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital is a large bedded mental health centre which provides care to adolescents and young adults, aged 12 upwards, who have complex needs, including acute mental illness and developmental disorders
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN with a valid NMC Pin**
As the Nurse Night Coordinator your key responsibilities include:
• Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services the Night Coordinator will work ensure the safe and appropriate management of the site throughout the night time delivery of care
• Responsible for overseeing the hospital at night
• Providing leadership and support to the ward based nursing teams, and clinical supervision as and when required
• Ensure that a high standard of patient care is provided and that the site complies with all quality standards and statutory requirements throughout the night shift
• You will be supported to achieve this by 24 hour medical and management on call
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Post registration experience ideally of working in more than one of the clinical areas provided at the hospital
• Experience of working as a Deputy Manager / senior nurse or equivalent role
• Good working knowledge of the Mental Health Act
• Ability to undertake physical requirements of PMVA
• Ability to be responsive and flexible
• Desirable Criteria
• Experience of working in Acute services
The successful Nurse Night Coordinator will receive an excellent salary up to £48,020 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 39.38 hours a week. In return for your hard work and dedication you will receive the following generous benefits:
