Deputy Manager

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Manager to work in an exceptional care centre based in the Salisbury, Wiltshire area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This care centre provides residential, nursing and dementia care for elderly residents, including trial stays, short stays, convalescent care and long-term care for individuals or couples

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RGN or RMN Nurse with a valid NMC Pin**

As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:
• Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care
• You will be the homes nurse expert and your role will be a combination of utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills
• You will focus on residents with complex needs, so it’s vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far-reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures
• Care plan development and assessments
• Look after all our residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Up to date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations
• Work using your initiative making effective decisions to improve care quality
• Always strive to provide great quality holistic care
• Be a team player, demonstrating outstanding communication skills and will be able to demonstrate effective teamwork as part of a multi-disciplined team
