Deputy Manager
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Manager to work in an exceptional community service based in Brighton. As a Registered Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This service provides care and support adults who may be living with severe learning disabilities, autism and behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be seen as challenging.
As a Deputy Manager your day to day duties include:
• Supporting the Registered Manager with the overall management responsibility of the care home
• Have a willingness to develop close working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams and be a support to the manager in responsibility for delivering outstanding care and operational performance
• You will also be expected to deputize for the manager if they are away from the home and there is a shared On Call responsibility with the manager
• Ensure both quality and financial targets are met
• Facilitating the development of quality healthcare services
• Ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of purchasers and clients
• You will support the manager in the strategic development of the care home
• Promoting and enhancing the company's reputation for high quality outcomes for clients
An ideal Deputy Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• An excellent track record in a senior role within the healthcare sector, together with an understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy and sensory processing issues with a passion for improving clinical quality and client care
• Strong leadership background that supports the manager to lead a successful service, delivery and development, people management, budget control, business development and revenue generation
• An inclusive and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership is a critical factor in the success of this role, in order to provide direction and implement change within the care home
• A willingness to learn
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent annual salary of £25,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
